Couple of days back I happened to visit RTO office at Civil Station Kaakanaad Ernakulam. It was surprisingly a pleasant experience in comparison with Tamilnadu's government offices. The officials were looking smart, proud of their job and pleasant to deal with. Whereas in Tamilnaadu govt offices,the officials first of all look like beggars waiting for bribes.Their tactics is to talk to the people rude and delay the jobs to make the visitor getting fed up and cornered to approach a tout. Through the tout if you go your job would be done...reason? well known to all. In Kerala no agents/ touts are permitted any where near the office! The touts float around in the guise of vending forms, Kerala govt has provided e-kendra run by ladies self help groups in the premisies
Why all states can not follow the footsteps of Govt of Kerala?
